Terms & Conditions - Holiday Raffle

Key Dates:
The Raffle opens Wednesday 13 May 2026 at 12:00 pm (noon).
The Raffle close Wednesday 27 May 2026 at 8:30 pm.
The Raffle winners will be announced Wednesday 27 May 2026 at 9:00 pm.

1. Promoters
The Better Together Ball Raffle (“Raffle”) is conducted by Returned & Services League of Western Australia (RSL WA) (promoter) in partnership with Legacy WA (promoter).

2. Purpose
All funds raised through this Raffle support programs and services for veterans and their families in Western Australia.

3. Eligibility
Entry is open to persons aged 18 years and over. To ensure a fair raffle draw and comply with regulations, the following people and all who reside at the same residential address are prohibited from entering the Raffle:

RSL WA Employees.
RSL WA Marketing & Engagement Team.
RSL WA Executive Leadership Team Members.
RSL WA Board Members.
Legacy WA Employees.
Legacy WA Marketing and Events Team.
Legacy WA Executive Leadership Team Members.
Legacy WA Board Members.
AMDA Foundation Employees
AMDA Foundation Marketing and Events Team.
AMDA Foundation Executive Leadership Team Members.
AMDA Foundation Board Members.
Defence West Employees.

RSL members are eligible to participate in the Raffle, providing they are not: Involved in the planning, operations, and delivery of the Better Together Ball. Are not an employee, contractor, or volunteer at RSL WA at 28 St Georges Terrace Perth WA 6000. Entrants must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

4. Terms and Conditions
This Raffle is conducted in accordance with the GAMING AND WAGERING COMMISSION ACT 1987. Gaming and Wagering transfer Commission of Western Australia’s Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety (“Gaming and Wagering Commission”).

A percentage of proceeds of this lottery will be paid to RaffleTix Holdings Pty Ltd as a professional fundraiser. For any enquiries contact The Returned & Services League of Australia WA Branch Incorporated on the permit holder’s phone number.

These terms and conditions, as published on the website www.bettertogetherball.org.au and as amended from time to time (“Terms”), govern the terms of participation in the Better Together Ball Holiday Raffle (“Raffle”) operated by the Returned & Services League of Australia WA Branch Inc. (“RSL WA”) ABN 59 263 172 184,.

Where it is lawful to do so, these terms may be updated and re-published online at www.bettertogetherball.org.au. It is up to the participant to review the Terms prior to entering the Raffle. RSL WA does not warrant that the Terms remain unchanged between lotteries. These Terms were last reviewed and updated on 8 May 2026.RSL WA reserves the right to vary, suspend, or cancel the Raffle at any time, subject to obtaining all necessary regulatory approvals. If this occurs, RSL WA will take all reasonable steps to notify participants via the official website and other appropriate communication channels. In the event of suspension, RSL WA will immediately cease ticket sales noting all tickets purchased prior to suspension remain valid pending regulatory directions. If the Raffle resumes, RSL WA will provide notice of a new draw date and any variations to these Terms.

In the event of cancellation prior to the Raffle being drawn, RSL WA will facilitate full ticket refunds for any eligible tickets in accordance with regulatory directions.

5. How to Enter
Tickets must be purchased via the official platform: RaffleTix Each valid ticket equals one (or multiple depending on bundle) entries. Entry is confirmed upon full payment and ticket issuance. Participants must include and verify all required information including full name, email address, phone number, and residential address. Changes to personal information may not be permitted.

6. Raffle Tickets
Ticket prices and bundle offers are listed on the raffle page.
Raffle tickets are set at $50.00 Australian Dollars per ticket.
A maximum of 24,000 tickets are available for sale. If all 24,000 tickets are sold, then each ticket will have a 1 in 8000 chance of winning a prize.
All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Tickets are non-refundable, except where required by law.

7. Raffle Period
The Raffle opens and closes on the dates listed on the official raffle page. Late entries will not be accepted.

8. Prize Details
There are three (3) prizes to be won:

First Prize – Travel VoucherAn $8,000 AUD travel voucher.
Can be used toward flights, accommodation, or travel experiences Validity period and booking conditions apply as per provider terms

Second Prize – Cash Prize$5,000 AUD cash P
aid via bank transfer or approved method by the Promoter.

Third Prize – Hotel Stay ExperienceA weekend stay at Crown Towers Perth including access to Crystal Club Lounge Includes premium accommodation and exclusive lounge benefits Subject to availability and blackout dates Must be redeemed in accordance with the provider’s booking conditions

9. General Prize Conditions
Total prize pool value is as advertised on the raffle page.
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable.,
There are no refunds available for raffle tickets are purchased.
Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash unless explicitly stated If a prize becomes unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value

10. Draw Details
The draw will take place on Wednesday, 27 May 2026 at 8:30 pm.
Location: Better Together Ball, Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, Perth WA 6000.
Winners will be selected at random via RaffleTix electronic draw method.
In the event that an ineligible ticket holder is selected, this person will be disqualified and a redraw will be conducted to select an eligible prize winner.  

11. Winner Notification
Winners will also be announced live at the Better Together Ball event.
Winners will be notified via phone and/or email using the contact details provided at the time of entry.
Winners’ names may be published on official Promoter websites, social media channels, and other communication channels.

12. Prize Collection and Verification
Winners must claim their prize within the timeframe advised by the Promoter.
Unclaimed prizes may be redrawn if not claims within 14 days of notification in accordance with regulatory requirements. Prize certificates will be awarded to winners at the Better Together Ball on Wednesday 27 May 2026.Winners must provide a passport, driver’s license, or 100-points of ID verification that matches the winning ticket to claim their prize. No Refund Policy. All raffle ticket purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by law.

13. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for: Lost, late, or misdirected entries Technical issues affecting entry or ticket purchase Any loss, damage, or injury suffered in connection with the Raffle or prize.

14. Privacy
Personal information will be used for the administration of the Raffle and may be used for future communications unless the entrant opts out. By entering the Better Together Ball Holiday Raffle, the participants acknowledge and agrees to opt-in to marketing communications by RSL WA and Legacy WA. By entering the Raffle, all participants who win prizes agree to have their name published for publicity purposes. Prize winners consent to being featured photos, videos, and audio recordings for reasonable promotional activity in print and social media, and on websites. Prize winners acknowledge and consent to their name being published on the Better Together Ball and RSL WA websites following the prize draw. RSL WA will not disclose any confidential or personal information to any person or third-party other than in accordance with these Terms and the Privacy Act.
